Two fans of the Brighton Jerseys Cheap were stabbed in Italy before the Europa League match against Roma.
The two men, ages 27 and 28, who were also robbed during the attack, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, which are not believed to be serious, according to reports from Italy.
After being stabbed, the men managed to take refuge in a nearby restaurant, where an employee called emergency services.
They have since been released from the hospital, and British police liaison officers and the British consulate are providing help and support.
One of the fans was photographed entering the Olympic Stadium for the first leg of the round of 16 match.
A Sussex Police spokesman said, “We can confirm that our dedicated soccer officer, PC Darren Balkham, is in Rome working alongside our Italian counterparts and European partner agencies.”
Two men were attacked and stabbed in the thigh before being robbed by a masked gang of about seven men in the capital’s Monti district.
The Foreign Ministry told Sky News, “We are providing assistance to two British men who were attacked in Rome and are in contact with local authorities.”
There were also problems during the match in Rome, with Brighton claiming that home fans threw bottles, coins, and lighters into the visiting section.
A statement from the Seagulls at halftime of the match said, “We are aware of the throwing of bottles, coins and lighters by home fans in the guest sector. We have reported to UEFA and the Italian Police and requested that immediate action be taken.”
About 3,500 Brighton fans traveled to Cheap Roma Football Shirts for the first leg of the Europa League round of 16 on Thursday night, kicking off at 5:45 p.m. The club had warned fans in advance of the match.

Seagulls fans attending the game have been advised to use a free shuttle service to get to and from the Olympic Stadium.
Earlier this season, Eddie McKay, 58, a Newcastle fan, was stabbed when he was attacked in the Navigli area of Milan the night before the Magpies’ Champions League match with AC Milan at the San Siro Stadium.
