According to reporter Matt Moore, he’s heard that multiple Eastern Conference teams have reached out to the Blazers to inquire about Lillard, and the Raptors are one of them.
Raptors reporter Eric Koreen writes, “The Raptors are only candidates because they’re at a crossroads: not good enough to make the playoffs and not bad enough to fall to the bottom of the standings. Plus, they just lost their starting point guard on the free agent market. Lillard is the point guard!”
Lillard appeared in 58 games for the Blazers in 2022-23, averaging 32.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game.
