The Red and Blacks travel to Sardinia to face Cagliari on Wednesday night, with Jovic, who moved to Milan from Piazza Bianconeri this summer, expected to make his first start for the side.
Milan boss Stefano Pioli will be looking to use the midweek game as much as possible to rotate his squad and give a chance to some of the players who have yet to make their debuts this season, thus allowing some of the team’s key players to get plenty of rest, one of which is the 36-year-old Olivier Giroud, who has started every Milan game so far this season, including the 0-0 draw against Newcastle in the Champions League.
